Scope and clinical limits
Health-content review policy
Clinical Forage provides source-reviewed participation education. It does not provide a clinical review of your situation.
Current review status
Clinical Forage does not represent its articles as medically reviewed by a physician, pharmacist, nurse, or other licensed clinician. No clinician reviewer is named as of September 5, 2026.
What source review covers
Editorial review checks general statements against official FDA, NIH, HHS OHRP, ClinicalTrials.gov, and related primary sources. It verifies links, narrows claims to the source, separates regulatory seriousness from symptom intensity, and places safeguards beside instructions about medication, fasting, laboratory findings, adverse events, and emergencies.
What source review cannot do
It cannot decide whether a protocol fits your diagnosis, treatment, laboratory values, pregnancy status, risk tolerance, or alternatives. It cannot replace the investigator’s explanation of the protocol or your clinician’s judgment about your care.
Escalation rules in every guide
- Send protocol and site-operation questions to the research team.
- Send personal medical questions to the study doctor and your clinician.
- Use the consent form’s after-hours path for non-emergency study-related symptoms.
- Call local emergency services first for an emergency.
- Send rights, pressure, or unresolved consent concerns to the IRB, research ethics committee, or participant-rights contact.
Future reviewers
If a qualified reviewer evaluates a page, Clinical Forage will name the reviewer, credentials, role, page reviewed, review date, and relevant conflict. A general advisory relationship will not be presented as page-level medical review.
